Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How Do I register?

Select Register or Log in on the top right hand side of any page.

How do I Bid?

Before you bid, carefully review the item. If you're happy with the item, enter your bid on the item page, and click the Place bid button. If it is an incremental bid, you are immediately informed if you are the current highest bidder. You are also asked whether you want to increase your bid. The bidding process depends on the kind of bid the item is listed as.

What kinds of bids are there?

There are two kinds of bid: direct bid or incremental bid. The direct bid takes the amount you enter as the amount which is going to be paid for this item. The price on item page is the always going to be the highest amount placed and the bidder will always be the current winner at the moment he places his bid. The bidder can raise his maximum bid in order to ensure that he is the winner and in order to raise more funds for Dar Tal-Providenza. The incremental bid works in increments over the current highest bidder. The system will bid on your behalf to ensure you remain the highest bidder, up to your maximum bid. The system will not exceed your maximum bid. The direct bid takes the amount you enter as the amount which is going to be paid for this item.
