Id-Dar tal-Providenza is once more launching its annual DTP Fine Arts Auction, in an effort to raise the much needed funds and donations that are vital to maintain and support all the residents at id-Dar tal-Providenza at Lapsi, and its community homes.
This support is certainly not possible without the generosity and assistance of our benefactors, who year after year come forward to contribute, assist and donate time, resources and money to ensure that the mission of id-Dar tal-Providenza and the vision of our founder Mgr. Azzopardi, is kept alive, while also striving to giving so much more than just a home to all its residents.
This year’s auction will be held online, on the 1st of January, during our Festa ta’ Ġenerożità, given also last year’s resounding success when the auction was relaunched after two years of absence due to the pandemic. The online auction is simple and instructions on how to participate are listed below.
The lots in the auction will be exhibited at the Parliament Building Foyer, Valletta from the 13th November till the 30th November. This has once again been made possible due to the continued patronage of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr Anglu Farrugia. The display will be open from 09:00 till 16:00, Monday to Friday. Entry to the Parliament Foyer for viewing will be strictly against presentation of your identification card and your vaccination certificate.
This year Dar tal-Providenza is also pleased to announce that the Online Auction is being organised in collaboration with Belgravia Auctions, who are supporting us with their online presence and auction experience. Bidding opens on 15 December 2023.
Participation requires one-time registration, and once complete, activation through a reply email for validation of your registration. This one-time registration will allow you to participate in future DTP Fine Arts Auction and other Belgravia online auctions.
